Lisa Doerge Coates Lisa has been active in performance art for most of her life. She studied theater performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and, later, television production at Columbia College Chicago. She was nominated for an Emmy in 2004 for her role in the Chicago-area cable program "Out on a Limb." Lisa also worked as a casting director for numerous television program and feature films in Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in education from Webster University and is actively involved with Affton Center Stage Theatre, where she directs children's theater.
