Visual Arts Chair :
Patti Mudd
Patti has been involved in the Arts for many years. She received her undergraduate BFA degrees
in Theatre and Studio Art. She began
working professionally in Theatre working for Theme Parks such as World’s of
Fun, and Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA. Locally she has worked for Stages St. Louis, Muny Student Theatre, TNT,
etc. She also roamed the country
working for various theatre companies and found her niche in Children’s
Theatre with Living Arts for Students in Knoxville, TN.
Inspired by the children she encountered, Ms Mudd returned to school
to receive her education certification and Masters of education. Currently she is the Chairperson for the
Bayless High School Fine Arts Department, where she also teaches visual art
and theatre production design. Her
goal is to inspire children through the arts and help make art accessible to
everyone! As a member of the Metro South Arts Council, she hopes to achieve
these goals in the Metro South area of St. Louis.
