Nomination Guidelines
The 2007 Fine
Arts Teacher of the Year shall meet the following criteria:
- (1) Be a full time teacher of the
arts employed in a private or public school teaching any grade K through
12,
- (2) Teach in the area represented by
Metro South Arts Council (the following school districts: Affton, Bayless, Hancock, Lindbergh,
Maplewood Richmond Heights, Mehlville/Oakville, and Webster Groves),
- (3) Have completed at least three
full years of teaching,
- (4) Teach in any discipline of the
arts—theatre, music, visual arts, or dance,
- (5) Demonstrate an outstanding
ability of teaching the arts.
The recipient
will receive the award at our annual Awards Day on Sunday, March 11, at the
Scott Joplin House.
