CARE TO SUPPORT US?

 

MSAC's mission is to support emerging artists and art groups and provide art experiences for the community at large throughout the Metro South area, and we seek and welcome support in many ways.

 

  • First of all, who benefits from MSAC's programming and support? The students, parents, and other residents of the South County area, geographically covered by the following school districts, benefit from MSAC's programs and support:
    • Affton
    • Bayless
    • Hancock
    • Lindbergh
    • Maplewood-Richmond Heights
    • Mehlville-Oakville
    • Webster Groves

 

  • MSAC offers the following student programs:
    • Arts Enrichment after-school art classes
    • After-school music classes
    • After-school Children's Choir
    • Summer Art Camp
    • Scott Joplin Piano Competition for students

 

  • MSAC offers support for small organizations and school art productions through Community Grant Awards

 

  • MSAC recognizes and honors instructors of the arts through its’ Arts Teacher of the Year Award

 

  • MSAC has begun a period of growth – in visibility, in board and staff, and in programming and arts support to the communities it serves.

  • Love of the arts, both visual and performing
  • Belief in accessibility to the arts necessary for the community, from school age through adult
  • Belief that parent participation is vital to arts education for students
  • Belief that partnerships between the arts and the business/corporate community are mutually beneficial

 

WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US

  • Make a donation.  All contributions, both large and small, help to build MSAC's public programming.  MSAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law.  Call or email us for more information.

 

  • Remember MSAC in your will.  Please consider a bequest to keep the arts alive in the South County area of St. Louis.  Call or email us for more information.

 

  • Become a volunteer.  You can serve on a committee, help with fundraisers, serve refreshments at awards ceremonies, or assist with art classes, for example.  Call or email us for more information.
